How to Complete the Personal Dosha Quiz
The quiz is divided into three parts, each focusing on different aspects of your traits: Physical Traits, Mental & Emotional Traits, Lifestyle Traits
Take the Quiz Twice
First Time: Answer based on your current situation (how you feel and experience things right now).
Second Time: Answer based on how you have always been, reflecting on your typical traits throughout your life.
This distinction helps identify temporary imbalances versus your natural constitution.
For each trait listed, read the descriptions under the columns for Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. These are your Dosha types. In each row, choose the description that best matches you by circling, checking, or marking V (Vata), P(Pitta), or K (Kapha).
If you feel you fit multiple categories in a row, you can mark more than one.
Proceed through all three sections: Physical, Mental & Emotional, and Lifestyle. Take your time to carefully reflect on which descriptions resonate with you most.
At the end of each round, count the total number of V, P, and K answers.
Your results from the first round will indicate your current state (potential imbalance).
Your results from the second round will reveal your natural constitution (Prakriti).
A higher count in one category (e.g., Vata, Pitta, or Kapha) indicates that this Dosha may be more dominant in your body and personality.
If your results are balanced across categories, it may indicate a more mixed constitution.
Be honest with yourself and choose what feels most natural or typical for you over time, not just what applies in the moment.
Completing the quiz twice is essential for identifying both your current state and your true nature.
Use the results as a starting point to explore your Ayurvedic Dosha further.
